A peaberry forms when a coffee cherry develops a single rounded bean instead of two. Representing only a small portion of the annual harvest, these distinctive beans are carefully separated during grading and valued for their rarity, consistency, and unique roasting characteristics.
Rancher's Reserve begins with 100% Kona Peaberry coffee grown on the slopes of Kona and roasted in small batches to highlight its natural sweetness and balance. The rounded shape of the peaberry allows for even heat distribution during roasting, helping develop a remarkably smooth and consistent cup.
Our medium roast profile brings forward notes of brown sugar, milk chocolate, and toasted macadamia nut while preserving the coffee's clarity and structure. Gentle citrus brightness adds lift to the cup, creating a coffee that feels refined without being complicated.
